Kenneth C. Kruly is responsible for all federal, state and local government relations for Canisius. He reports to John J. Hurley, the college’s vice president for college relations.
Before coming to Canisius, Kruly served as deputy Erie County clerk. Prior to that, he was Erie County’s director of budget and management under County Executive Dennis Gorski from March 1997 to December 1999. During his career, he has also served as the general manager of administration and the director of administration and finance for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, and as the administrator for the law firm of Hurwitz & Fine.
 
Kruly holds a political science degree from Canisius and a master’s degree in public affairs from the State University of New York at Albany.
